We spent a wonderful weekend with Rob’s younger sister and brother and their families.
On Friday night we had a BBQ with Rob’s sister Liv, her husband Hamish and their children, Georgia, Poppy and Mac. After dinner, we all went for a walk along the beach and I took advantage of the beautiful light to take some photos of my gorgeous nieces and nephew:
I also took a few photos of the sunset, which was simply stunning:
We came home for dessert. Around the same time, Rob’s brother Paul arrived to stay for 2 nights with his wife Jo and their children, Brock, Amy and Mark. Liv’s family left to stay with Hamish’s sister for the weekend.
On Saturday, we spent most of the day at Parakai Pools with Paul’s family. The boys had a blast with their cousins, and we had fun hanging out together as a family. We enjoyed another BBQ on the deck on Saturday night (related: I may be just a little sad about daylight savings ending in 2 weeks’ time).
Love spending time with my amazing in-laws. They are all beautiful, kind, loving, fantastic people who I get along with so well. I may be biased, but I really do think I have the most gorgeous nieces and nephews in the world (and that includes the 3 older ones belonging to Rob’s older brother Greg).
