It’s almost Christmas! Yay!
Despite the fact that I have to work tomorrow (Christmas Eve), I am feeling very relaxed and ready for Christmas.
All my shopping is done, and most of it is wrapped.
We have driven around after dark to admire the Christmas lights.
Tonight we will watch a Christmas movie as a family.
The boys and I made and iced Christmas cookies last week.
Yesterday I did the rest of my Christmas baking, and had my first swim of the summer. Rob and the boys have been swimming a few times already, but it hasn’t been warm enough for me until now.
After I finish work tomorrow, we will (tropical cyclone permitting) have fish & chips at the beach, which is one of our family traditions.
Tomorrow night we will attend our special cafe-style Christmas Eve service at church. This year’s theme is “The Peace of Christmas”.
I am SO excited about spending Christmas Day with my Canadian cousins, who are winging their way over to NZ right now!
Can. Not. Wait.
From my family to yours, I hope you all have a wonderful, peace-filled Christmas.

Merry Christmas!
This post has only just popped up now in Google Reader. Love Helen Steiner Rice. Merry Christmas.
