CMH #29 – Technique Challenge

A brand new challenge has been posted at Challenge Me Happy, and 3 new Design Team members have been announced! Yay! :-)

This time we have a technique challenge – and the technique is SEWING!
You can use hand stitching or machine stitching, as long as the sewing is prominent in your project.

Here’s the example I came up with, featuring photos of my gorgeous niece Amy:

YouAreFearless (1600x1067)

YouAreFearless3 (1600x1067)

YouAreFearless4 (1600x1067)

YouAreFearless5 (1600x1067)

I cut some heart shapes out of felt, and hand stitched around the edges using white thread. I used one heart on its own as an embellishment …

YouAreFearless2 (1600x1067)

… and then put 4 hearts together with a button to make this cute flower:

YouAreFearless1 (1600x1067)

YouAreFearless6 (1600x1067)

Want to play along? To be in to win a fabulous mini kit from C’est Magnifique Kits, upload the link to your blog post or gallery post with your creation before midnight 15 September NZ time (GMT + 12 hours).

Happy Scrapping! :-)
