Time to Fly
June 29, 2009
“Time to Fly” is the name of Paper Pesto’s June kit.
This beautiful bird-themed kit marks the end of an era, really.
Kate says, “this will be the last monthly kit in the current format from Paper Pesto for now. I am changing things up a bit. Kits will no longer be available by subscription but will instead be offered on a more casual basis. They will be smaller project style kits that will include ideas for cards and layouts or mini albums. It’s a work in progress that may take some time to get together, but I promise to keep you informed!”
My 6-month Design Team stint with Paper Pesto is now over, but I have enjoyed every single minute of it. Thanks, Kate! It has been a privilege to design with your gorgeous kits.
Here are the layouts and cards I designed using the “Time to Fly” kit:
HAPPY TOGETHER
Journalling reads: We have our ups & downs just like any married couple, but through it all, we know our love is strong enough to carry us through. We are so happy together. Dec ‘08.
MY NIECES
CRAZY
Journalling reads: Tyler, I just love your cheekiness and your crazy sense of humour! You’re always pulling silly & funny faces; doing or saying things to make us laugh; acting crazy for attention and laughs. It just comes naturally to you – you’re a really crazy, funny kid! Don’t ever lose that neat ability to make other people happy!
I also whipped up a couple of cards …
Thanks for looking!

I saw the “crazy” Tyler LO over at the Paper Pesto blog earlier today and was waiting to see if you’d upload it here too. It’s very striking, Hannah! I love the colours too.
Wow, that six months certainly speed by. I’ll miss seeing your creations there too.
The LO of yourself and Rob is gorgeous, as is the one with your nieces. You have such a natural talent of putting original combos of papers etc. together.

This make me LONG to scrapbook again. Hopefully in a few weeks, once we are moved and settled I can get after it again. I love the way you did the paper edges in the “Crazy” layout.

Wow. wow. wow.
I’m with Angella, come teach me! Though I think it would be a bit like trying to teach a cement block. I am an accountant after all
I sure do enjoy seeing your work though, keep it coming!
