Fancy feet

My wonderful friend Teeni makes the most gorgeous barefoot sandals, and she has recently started selling them on her blog.
These barefoot sandals are “simple understated elegance”, perfect for “beach nuptials, tropical honeymoons or even for just wearing around the house.”
Each pair is hand crafted by Teeni herself, and made of silver tone elastic and metal.

I loved them from the moment I saw them, so I decided to buy some. I knew they would be perfect for taking to Fiji in May, when Rob and I celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. At first I was concerned that they wouldn’t fit me, because it appears I have rather large feet (size 9 in NZ, which is size 11 in the US). But Teeni emailed me and assured me she could make some in my size!
And here they are:
Aren’t they beautiful? The sandals, not my feet. 
I’m definitely no foot model, but I did my best. I shaved my legs, I applied some moisturiser, I painted my toe nails. What more could you ask for? LOL.
Right now, they have a special spot on my dresser – I have draped them around the neck of my Venus de Milo statue (no, not the real one, just an imitation!!) where I know they will be safe until our trip. Of course I could start wearing them at the beach here, as summer is on the way, but I want to save them for a really special occasion, and Fiji it is!

they look nice – I’m with you on the feet thing???? does anyone like the way their feet look??? as for FIJI- mmmmm that sounds so nice and a great thing to look forward to….

Go you on showing your feet off at their very best. Thinking they’ll look darn cool in Fiji – don’t soak up too much sun in them though Hannah, or you’ll have some very interesting tan lines LOL! What a talented lady Tenni is.

Ya know – I needed these this morning. I forgot to pack my shoes in my cycling bag so ended up having to pop over to the mall to pick up some cheapies. If I’d had these in my desk drawer, no one would have even blinked!
