My kids crack me up!
On Saturday afternoon, Rob asked Tyler to put one of his beers in the fridge. Rob keeps his beer in a cupboard and puts 1 or 2 in the fridge at a time, so we don’t run out of fridge space. I do the same with my cans of Coke Zero.
A few minutes later, Tyler came out and said he’d done it. But as Rob hadn’t heard the cupboard door opening or any glass “clinking”, he went to investigate.
This is what he saw:

The teddy bear IS actually Rob’s, he got it for Father’s Day one year. He keeps it in his bedside cabinet drawer. So Tyler had gone upstairs to our room, grabbed the bear, come back downstairs and put it in the fridge!! He was SO proud of himself, too!
How freakin’ cute is THAT?
Oh, but the laughs don’t stop there.
Yesterday afternoon, we had a freak storm with thunder, lightning and hail. All the hail had collected in the corner of the deck by the front door, so Rob opened the door to sweep it away. Tyler saw it and immediately grabbed some to put in his mouth. Then Ethan wanted to try it.
So Rob sat them both down at the dinner table with a plate of hail each.
It’s a good thing I have a sense of humour, eh?
So cute! It hailed here too yesterday, very loud on our tin roof.
A sense of humour is very important to a Mother’s well being.

Oh, the bear, how utterly adorable! What a character that Tyler is
We have a separate beer fridge so that there’s always several cold ones available…we hardly drink so it’s kind of laughable but we do use it for extra milk and such as well.
We don’t really drink much either, so a beer fridge would be just as funny at our place!

Hail on a plate – that’s so funny! My one’s going through an “put your hand in a puddle and put whatever you find in there in your mouth” phase – the hail eating sounds a whole lot nicer

Looks like Tyler and Aidan would have a blast together! LOL So cute!
Brendon does the same thing, he’s trained Aidan and Madelynn to get him a beer from the fridge. A couple of weeks ago we heard the kids playing in the beer in the cupboard and told them to get out of it. We hear them say, we put it in the fridge for you ok daddy? Brendon says ok. A couple hours later after the kids had gone to bed, Brendon goes to get something from the fridge. He opens it up to find all 23 bottles! Stuffed every where they could find a slot.

You do have the most fun household! I love the bear in the fridge. It is always so interesting to see how things get interpreted by young minds and reminds us how we used to think that way so long ago!
Plates of hail? You guys are the coolest parents. Those kids would be hungry again in five minutes though! LOL. Great post!
